Maintenance of the SUNSHINE Industrial Ring Die Feed Pellet Mill

1. Daily Maintenance

A. Strictly lubricate all lubrication points according to the lubrication diagram. Note: Correct lubricant selection is crucial for the proper operation of the pellet mill. For the main shaft bearings, roller bearings, and other bearings, use No. 2 high-grade lithium-based radial lubricant or a similar grease. For the gearbox, use imported high-grade, anti-oxidation turbine oil or No. 120 industrial gear oil. Complete specifications are available. If you must use a different, untested grease or thinner oil, please provide us with its specifications so we can compare and determine compatibility.

B. Check the distance between the die cutters during each shift to ensure it is at least 3 mm.

C. Check all bolts and screws in the pellet hopper for looseness during each shift.

D. Remove any accumulated material from the pellet hopper and machine surfaces during each shift.

E. Add approximately 30 grams of lubricant to each roller bearing every four hours. Add 50 grams of lubricant to the main shaft bearing every 8-10 hours.

2. Regular Inspection and Maintenance

A. Check the oil levels of the feeder, reducer, and chain drive weekly. Replace the reducer's lubricant after the first 500 hours of operation, and every 1000 hours of continuous operation thereafter.

B. Check the wear of the wear rings and drive keys weekly and replace them promptly.
