Cool the 70-90 degree pellet feed out of the pellet mill to a temperature slightly higher than the ambient temperature of 3-5 degrees, and reduce it to a safe moisture content. The cooled granules can not only improve the hardness of the granules, but also prevent mildew, which is beneficial to the transportation and storage of the granules.

Working Principle

How Feed Counterflow Coolers Work

When the granules come out of the granulator, they contain a certain amount of moisture of 8-17%, and the temperature is around 70-85°C. If the ambient air humidity is high, the granules will absorb moisture in the air and become moldy during storage. Therefore feed pellet coolers are required to keep the pellets dry and safe for storage requirements.
